Refrain from casting judgement on others. Instead of pushing a person in a direction you see fit, remind them of who they used to be and where they have come from.
Often times, people discard their former selves in search of a new identity that can protect them from their insecurities. Though, these flaws are an essential part to our natural being, and cannot be forgotten unless conquered.
Show a man his demons, and let him fend for himself.

I’m realizing that as I age, the amount of people whom I can count and depend on steadily declines. It sucks, but I suppose its for the best; I would hate to be in a situation where I needed someone and they weren’t there.
I’ve lost two friends in the matter of the three weeks. Not in the physical sense, but in the “we were really good friends, but then you treated me like crap” sense. I hate that it happened, but I guess it was meant to be. Although I would like to one day be able to say it worked out, things cannot be achieved on just one person’s effort. While I am here, and having a difficult time coping, they don’t even seem to care. I’m so sick of people who say things knowing they have empty meanings behind them. People who say stuff just to say it, but know in their heart they don’t mean it. I don’t like one-sided friendships.
I’m so thankful for those few people I have that I can count on no matter what. Those people who are there for me through the laughs and tears, but also know that I am there for them. I wish more people were honest and meant the things they say.
